Dr. Gideon Matzkin, MD, ABPN
Dr. Gideon Matzkin, MD, ABPN is a board-certified adult and interventional psychiatrist and the Owner & Medical Director of Attuned Psychiatry. After graduating Magna cum Laude from Yeshiva University and completing his Pre-Medical Post-Baccalaureate studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta, he earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency training in adult psychiatry at Einstein Healthcare Network Department of Psychiatry in Philadelphia alongside advanced psychodynamic training at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.
Dr. Matzkin holds Active Medical Staff Privileges in Adult Psychiatry at Northside Hospital Atlanta and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Throughout his career across inpatient, consult-liaison, emergency psychiatric, and specialized interventional settings, he has developed deep clinical expertise in treatment-resistant depression (TRD), anxious depression, OCD, trauma/PTSD, bipolar disorder, and adult ADHD.
Dr. Matzkin is certified in BrainsWay Deep TMS™ and SPRAVATO® (esketamine) REMS administration, and is an active member of the Clinical TMS Society, the American Psychiatric Association, and the Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association.
